  • A general solution for Remote Patient Monitoring System

    Remote patient monitoring (RPM) is technology to monitor patient outside of conventional clinical settings, e.g. at home. It allows patients to maintain independence, and minimize personal costs. The purpose of our solution is to provide a general solution to achieve RPM. At the same time, it also has alert function, and family members can provide support if a problem arises.

  • ActionCode IOT Server

    There are many IOT devices from different vendors in the market. When users want to control or reading values from these devices. They need to install each programs from different vendors to control devices. Users need to switch each program to control different IOT devices and need to know which devices control by which programs. ActionCode IOT Server (short as AIS) project propose to solve these problems. By assign each IOT devices' code called ActionCode. ActionCode can use to map UI for each IOT devices. And show the action relate to that devices both control and display sensors values. Users just read ActionCode which programmed in NFC tag or QR code printed on the control symbol. Control IOT make it simple just tap the devices symbol you need to control.

  • Autonomous Robot for Indoor Surveillance and Monitoring

    The robot will have three main features: it can locate its position and run across the building, it will gather sensor data from the area that it passes through, and it is able to process that data and send only crucial or abnormal information to the cloud which can only be accessed by the administrator.

    The number of elderly person above 65 years old living alone has seen an increased trend for the past few years in Singapore. Many of these elderly person may require public assistance and support from their family. Many of them may feel lonely and socially inactive resulting in the onset of old age diseases. The Straits Tines Singapore (March 2014) has reported that this situation of a one-person resident household has doubled from 4.6% of all households in 1992 to 9.5% in 2012. This rising trend will result in the more acute personal care and attention to the well-being of such persons. Keeping active with regular exercises and engagement with neighbors will help to drive away this loneliness and boredom.

  • Japanese language learning device

    Nowadays, more and more people in the world and Southeast Asia start learning Japanese. With a desire to help learners to approach this difficult language faster, I would like to promote this IOT educational appliance. To use this device, learners gather together like in a card game. KANJI, a part of Japanese language, or part of them are written on cards. They can exchange these cards in anyway. When ones have a completed KANJI character in their hands he or she will lay these under the cameras connected to GR-PEACH board. GR-PEACH board is connected to a web server. Image analyzing result of the KANJI will be compared with data on the web server. The matching KANJI and its related information will be responded through a screen and loudspeakers.

  • LOCAL RAINFALL FORECAST

    This project aim to research, design and fabricate a rainfall forecast system based on a wireless sensor network. The environment information is collected from several sensor nodes and then be sent to the base station via LoRa connection. With the help of fuzzy logic, we can predict rainfall possibility at some places.

  • Low-cost vector network analyzer - VNA for measuring the antenna of IoT devices

    The project presents a device that analyzes qualities of the antenna in IoT devices by using the low cost embedded modules. It can be used by the IoT start-ups for developing wireless communication devices. The low cost VNA based on the principle of comparison between transmitted wave and reflected wave on the antenna to compute the reflected factor and appreciate qualities of the antenna.

  • Smart Greenhouse Control System

  • Using IoT to track and monitor/Dangers Hunter

    We need to maintain the elevator over the time. And maintenance needs people. And people need money. We have to pay for them. But there is a trouble that is WHEN? When we need to maintain? If we maintain the elevator each day, yeah, wonderful! We’ll be safe. But that’ll be a big trouble with money. How do we know exactly when the elevator, or more specific, things need to be maintain? We have solution for that problem: USING IoT TO MONITOR AND TRACK.

IOT is the new trend and GR PEACH offers an ideal platform for IOT prototyping. Fully pin-compatible with Arduino UNO, GR-PEACH is an ARM® mbed™ enabled development platform.
GR-PEACH is created for the developer interested high-speed prototyping of IoT devices with loads of HMI — graphics, touch panel, camera input, audio, network and more!

Gadget Renesas is a project that links ideas and electronics.

Selection process

“In Phase 1, Abstracts are selected
based on product concept and goals.
Selected abstracts will receive GR PEACH board.
The contestants submit their reports and video of working prototype in Phase 2.
In final stage, Phase 3, Shortlisted teams will be invited to Grand finale to demonstrate their projects and prizes will be awarded at the event.”

Product Publicity

Winning awards will be publicized via articles
and developed into commercialized products.

GR-COTTON

GR-COTTONは、白くて丸い基板にフルカラーLEDを搭載し、光とデザインをつなぎやすくするボードです。コイン電池(CR2032)を取り付けることができ、USBケーブル(マイクロBタイプ)でプログラム書き込みができるため、LEDの動作確認からデザイン工作への応用がスムーズにできます。例えば万華鏡を覗いたら美しく光っている、あるいは鳥の巣から発せられる光をスマホで見たら、なんと温度や湿度が表示される、そのような可視光通信の体験も身近にするボードです。GR-KURUMIと同様のマイコンRL78/G13を採用しており、Arduinoと互換性のあるスケッチができます。
